Topic: Cacti not showing thumbnail graphs

Hi Folks,

I have installed cacti as per this wiki article: http://wiki.contribs.org/Cacti.

This system was working fine for some months. THen recently it stopped showing all thumbnail graphs, and some normal graphs would not show. All SNMP queries are good, and I have removed cacti and rrdtool and dropped the database as well as remove the /opt/cacti folder.

Re-installing cacti and rrd takes me back to a clean system with no cacti info inside exept the defaul localhost, but even these do not display graphs properly.

I have spent a long time on the cacti forums working this out, but am with the conclusion that it is the sme contrib that is giving me problems.

Can anybody help with this?

Please report problems with any contrib or contrib documentation via the Bug Tracker.

I struggled with this for some time. The graphs would show up under Console, Graph Management but not in the tree.

I found that RRDTool had upgraded to 1.2.30 and Cacti apparently was still configured for 1.1.x.

For me going to Console, Configuration, Settings and changing the drop down to RRDTool 1.2.x fixed the problem.

Much more usable!
