Topic: How to Block EMail Attachement Upload ---

Hello All,
               I am using yahoo bizmail for my email need. And I use SME Server for my data storage and proxy etc. Now I used dansgaurdian on my sme to block the web access etc, but I do not know how can I block the uploads of attachments. We consider our data very important and its really tough to track the upload presently.
I tried search it around in the forum but most people use sme mail server which they tried to configure accordingly, but in my case I use Yahoo Bizmail.


Can anyone help that out fro me.

You will need to configure yahoo bizmail, I don't think that has anything to do with sme server.


To block email attachments, you need to use sme as your mail server.
Configure executable content blocking in server manager email panel.

You can add other file signatures or patterns using the old Howto.
Although the howto is somewhat deprecated the content is still useful to help you determine file patterns to add to the database.
