Guys....    its been a while since I've been in here.  For the most part my little sme box just runs and runs and runs, and sends me e-mail after e-mail re: "Updates available.... ".  Eventually I get around to installing the updates via the server-manager web interface and all is (usually) fine.  Except tonight.  The subject above says it....  very annoying.  I went into the aforementioned management interface and reset my account password (my account = jim) and can successfully login using my imap mail client (thunderbird) but cannot get authenticated via the web interface.     I've tried it from multiple machines (my desktop upstairs on hardwire, and here on my laptop downstairs via wireless).  Tried both FF & IE web browsers.  No joy.

Ideas??  I would really like to get this resolved as I cannot get to my mail via IMAP due to employer not allowing access. I can only check my personal e-mail via web from work.

Server is current @7.4 (I guess - or whatever it is up to now)  I just ran the updates last night and didn't give it a 2nd thought until I couldn't check my mail throughout the day from work.  I've googled some, searched these forums, etc ...   not having a whole lot of luck.  Hoping that some of you guys can provide some insight....

I don't think that it is a bug else I suspect that I would have found ~something~ similar to what I'm seeing posted from someone else in these forums when I searched them.  I'm thinking that something just got buggered up someplace ... horde interacts with php which in turn interacts with mysql ...  bla bla bla.  I'm hoping that it will be as simple as a "setprop db doSomething toFix Jimlogon"  | "signal event reboot" kinda voodoo.  I don't know that voodoo like some of the guys in here do though...

The place to troubleshoot issues with core SME Server packages and functionality is the bugtracker, so even if you think it might not be a bug please report it there.

You should change this to solved with the resolution being you needed to do a signal-event post-upgrade ; signal-event reboot so that the horde tables get properly created.  Or at least solved with a link to the bug report.

User can't because the post is older than 7 days. I took the liberty of adding it (needed to adjust the subject for it slightly).
