Topic: ibays log

Dear All,
is there any solution to record all activity of the user for accessing the ibays,
specially to recording the "deletion", "changing", or "moving" any content on ibays folder, which is doing by the user have an access to the ibays.
in the short words, a "logs" for user activity of accessing the ibays (Deleted, Changing, Moving,... etc)

From looking at http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Samba-HOWTO-Collection/VFS.html, I suspect you need to customize /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf/ibays/90vfs to add "extd_audit" to the "vfs objects" section of the [ibayname] declarations, then customize the log level to get your audit info...

I edited this post to change the recommended template from /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf/50homesVFS (which would affect users' home directories) to /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/smb.conf/ibays/90vfs (in order to affect ibays as requested).
