Dial-Up / No Connection

Dial-Up / No Connection

I am having a hard time getting the SME Server 5.5 to connect to my ISP.  It dials the ISP, but dosen't make a connection.  Any suggestions as to what I can do to resolve this problem?

What's the log say? Is the password correct? The Phone Number? Are you using an external modem so that you can listen to it dialing?

try using minicom from the command prompt and manually dial-up, that might give you a better idea of what is actually happening after handshaking occurs.
