Hello everybody,
I have sussed the D-Link ADSL modem, I was having all kinds of trouble, worked directly connected, failed on SME etc. etc....
It only works on the MAC address of the card you set it up on!
My setup
BT Broadband
PPPoA
VC MUX
username (for wires only anything you like @btbroadband.com
password (not required for bt but needed for modem, I used 'password')
auth CHAP
After configuration using a java enabled browser (any OS) I moved the NIC to my e-smith (sounds beter than SME) box and voila! all working
I hope this solves someones problem
