Topic: Constant loss of Bigpond Internet Connection on SME 6.0 Beta

Hi,

I am using Mitel Networks SME Server 6.0beta1 and very often, I keep losing the dsl internet connection. Reviewing the logs I found that whenever I lose connectivity to the internet, there seem to be a denylog:in=eth1 out=MAC..... (see summary below)

Can anyone help me with this one?

First, you're using an old beta; beta3 is out.  Second, this sounds like an issue with the beta--all of which, as has been posted here innumerable times (and in the release notes) should be reported to smebugs@mitel.com.

I had the exact same issue on beta1, beta 2 had no issues at all regarding connection, beta3 is fine with connections although I have been having email issues with 3 that did not happen in 2, tried the updates to 3 and still having no luck at all, for some reason it won't collect the isp mail at all. Still can't figure why, other than that it's all good with telstra adsl

Thanks for the advice and I have now upgraded to Beta 3, however I am still having problems with internet connection (Bigpond via Alcatel Pro). I am also having problems when I try to access various i-bays on the server. Within seconds of accessing the ibays, I get the message that "You're no longer connected to.."

I checked my Log Files which reads the following...
