Topic: virtual domains ( hosts)

E-smith is working very well,
only we cant get working virtual domains.

We have www.abc.com and www.xyz.com.
We filled in in the menu abc.com as primary domain and in the e-smith manager we created a virtual domain xyz.com.
abc.com with primary content and xyz.com with abay1 content.

Both domains work via internet, but they go both to the primary content.

What are we doing wrong, or is it not possible this way in e-smith 4.0

You need to setup an ibay for xyz.com and then from the e-smith-manager go into the settings for the virtual domain xyz.com and link it to that ibay. Then simply upload your website to the html directory for the newly created ibay.

local it works fine : www.e-smith.abc com   primary  and
 www.e-smith.xyz.com  ibay1

Perhaps you haven't applied the 4.0.1 update, and you are using a dialup or PPPoE link.
