Topic: Outlook 2000 Imap Problem...!

Greetings,

I have been totally impressed with this product but now am having trouble that I am hoping someone can help me with.

I use Outlook 2000 for mail and when setting up my new Imap folders on my new E-Smith box (using beta 2) I get an outlook.exe error that shuts down the entire program everytime I try to check my mail on the E-Smith box.

I have erased all my .pst folders in Outlook to get a clean slate, I have remade my account on the E-Smith box, and I have restarted both machines (client and server).  Nothing is working.

Now here is the strange part.  Outlook Express works fine using the Imap.  Not a crash yet.

Does anyone know of this particular Outlook problem?  If there is documentation on this particular Outlook error then don't even waste your breath.  Point me in the right direction and I will RTFM.

Try to uninstall Oulook 2000 and then re-install it. Try it without and with SP1. If all else fails, do what I did, @!#$ can MS Office and go to StarOffice 5.2
