Are there any other programs such as BRU that could be used
instead of flexbackup.

Any backup util that would backup at a fixed times/ unattended
as we have a couple of graphics people that are producing a lot of daily work

Hi there

I am having a look at several backup programs (taper, Kbackup, afio, arkei)

I haven't got a solution yet but will keep you posted

Thanks

While we are talking about backups.
We use a number of non-tape backups and Unattended Backups
Looking to support zip, jazz, and hot_removable HDA.
yes I know that removing drives causes some problems, but they are
a graphics shop and generate a lot of big jpeg/tiff files.
In the main, how will the package support multi-disc backups.

For your consideration

Hi there

Update:

I have been looking at taper & Kbackup. Both have a gui & seem pretty simple to use. I haven't got either one to work properly (problems with my tape drive)

Try those 2 out - let us know how it goes. Also taper can be downloaded a static compiled binary ie you can run it out-the-box.

Thanks
Brandon
