FreeSwan integration

I was thinking of trying to get FreeSwan (an IPSEC implementation) running on the 4.1 beta e-smith release.  I did a search of this database, and found that one fellow claimed to be looking at it, but no results were mentioned.  If anyone has actually done it (or probably more important in the "saving me time" department - tried it and found it impossible) I would like to know.

p.s. Am I dreaming or does the documentation say that 4.1 beta is based on Redhad 7.0, but the iso image boots up a Redhat 6.2 installation?

Please join the developer list to discuss this. Quite a bit
of work has already been done on this, including the posting
you mention. See also www.e-smith.org

Yes, you are dreaming :-) The installer is RH7, but we are
not using the GUI installer portion.

I am doing an install tonight (hopefully) with an RPM designed for e-smith.  I will let you know.

Thanks for the pointer to the home page - don't know how I missed it. Great set of instructions .... I'll try it out tonight.
