First, have patience.

Second (closely related to first), only post once; we can see the message, but may not have time to reply immediately.  Multiple posts tend to annoy people.

Third, you haven't given anywhere near enough information to even begin to guess at the nature of your problem.  To start, it would help to know the versions of e-smith and Outlook, and a detailed description of exactly what's happening.  Do you get an error message?  If so, what (exactly) does it say?  When do you get it?  Do you get the same thing every time, or does it vary?  Have you tried using other mail clients?  If so, what happens with them (and if not, why not? this could be useful, to determine whether it's an Outlook bug)?  Get the picture?  The more information you give, the better we can help you.

Fourth, it's rather bad form to request private replies to a public posting (particularly when, had you entered your real address in the header, you could receive them just by checking the box below the message box).  First, it means that other people who might have the same sort of problem in the future won't be able to see what suggestions have been made.  Second, it tends to give the impression that you can't be bothered to even check back for replies to your problem.

You are not only rude, but seem to be a poor thinker as well. Dan's questions and suggestions were all very reasonable.

He most likely had a hard day at work... So he's on here trying to get a bit. I agree with Charlie and John... Dan is just trying to help.

I love your e-smith servers web site and the hacks that you have done to phpMyChat 0.13.1 and phpSystem.

Can you release phpMyChat 0.13.1 as a add-on rpm to e-smith ? (like webalizer-add-on.x.x.rpm is... etc)

Thanks, Michael

Michael, you read my mind. I, too, think it would be great to see phpMyChat packaged as an e-smith add-on. Great work, Dan.

Dan, Keep up with your valuable contributions and don't take any notice of "observers" hiding behind anonimity.

An RPM of phpMyChat?  Hmmm, I dunno; I'm not sure how useful an RPM of that would be.  What might be more useful would be a walkthrough for installing it from scratch, which would allow users to put it wherever they wanted in their e-smith system.  I'll see if I can scrape up some time to work on that...
