Topic: Which config to use

Hi there,

I 've been using e-smith now for 2 months and I'am still very enthusiatic about this great product and it's support.

The server now runs E-smith 4.0.1 on a cyrix 166, 32 mb and 2x bigfoot 2Gb IDE disk, 3COM 10base UTP NIC, ISDN external modem.
The new setup could contain the following;

cyrix 166, 32 mb
Adaptec 2940 UW Dual SCSI host adapter
3x 4Gb Hawk Seagate SCSI
1x 9Gb Barracuda Ultra SCSI

Question:
Is it usefull to setup an RAID system? Which raid1, 0 or 5
What disk config should I choose?
Should I wait for the stable 4.1 release or get the rc4 and test it
with the SCSI disks?

I'am using the system for; W98 file, print sharing, Internet and Apple Mac file, print sharing.

Please advise because I have the disks and it's a waist if they keep eating dust in the cellar.
