Just out of curiosity, what is 4.1.1 on the ftp site. I've seen no notice of upgrades, but there appears to be an ISO file there with this version number.

It has only been officially announced the developer community, though formal announcements should follow soon enough.

It is the new version of the software which will replace 4.1 - there were some bugs found in the 4.1 release that have been corrected under 4.1.1

I should add that very few people will notice any of the differences. Don't rush to upgrade. Wait for the release announcement and look at the release notes before deciding to upgrade. And even then, just apply the upgrade RPMs from the 4.0 directory.

Also I downloaded both directories noarch & i386.....
Installed all the update rpms:
I revieced this message on one:

[root@mail-server noarch]# rpm -Uvh e-smith-named-1.4.0-08.noarch.rpm           error: failed dependencies:
        caching-nameserver conflicts with e-smith-named-1.4.0-08
