Public DNS with 4.1

I am having a problem setting up public DNS.  The notes I have found help for setting DNS up with 4.0, however I believe e-smith has changed the templates around.

Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I guess my company won't be purchasing e-smith.  We need a total solution.

Thanks anyway,

Evan.

It might be helpful if you realised the reasoning behind the DNS setup.

It is possible to add public DNS to e-smith, and people have done this with
relative ease,  but there are many other issues involved, including security
and robustness of your DNS configuration.

There is no requirement to host your DNS on the same machines on which
you host your web site or mail.  Most e-smith users have a single server, and
you cannot run a single DNS server for a domain.

There have also been a spate of DNS attacks which are possible with a public
DNS server, but are not possible with the caching and local DNS server
configuration shipped with e-smith.

If you would like to discuss this further, maybe you could provide some
detail of your requirements to info@e-smith.com which is the most
appropriate place for presales queries.

Thanks,

Gordon
