Topic: IDE tape backup

I have a HP 5GB tape backup.  It seems to backup because the tape runs for about 15 min, but when I go to restore it take about 5 sec then stops.  And it restore nothing.

Are you using the e-smith-manager?  If you are using the command-line you need to follow this HowTo:
