I need to do a "force-user" / "force-group" to solve some ownership issues on a particular software I am trying to get running on a E-Smith server.  It pertains to the fact that some of the files are dos "read-only" and must be changed, modified and reflagged as "read-only".  Giving rwxrwxrwx permissions will not help as dos attributes can only be changed by the owner and/or root.  Anybody know what "template" for samba this would be accomplished in???

try using webmin (webmin.net) it worked well for me
