Topic: Custom Dynamic DNS

Hey People,

I'm wondering what has to be done to run a custom Dynamic DNS configuration.  I've registered my domain with a server out of chicago and I'm going to run my e-mail server locally.  I'm on a cable modem so I need to send updates to the DDNS server.

What has to be customized to get that to work?

I have just done this for hammernode. I posted it up here. Search on hammernode to see. It is pretty simple. Hardest part is 1) the specific api for the dyndns provider and 2) making the leap from the know nothing level of general documentation - again not hard but you have to look on the developer site....
