Phorum

Hi all.
I was thinking in setting up my server to share some stuff with a group of friends, and I downloaded Phorum software to give it a look,
here is the problem: installing phorum software involves some changes that I'm not sure I'll be able to handle by my own,
so my question is: could I install phorum software, and keep my e-smith server working as well as it have been doing since the last time I screwed it up

(I have my reinstalation disk and my backup ready in case of being tempted by the boring stability of my server

)

It would be great to share some info on this subject !
