I've installed Postgres and I created a symlink in runlevel 7 to start it up when the server starts but everytime I do any upgrade I seem to lose the symlink and have to start postgres manually. I'm familiar with creating custom templates just not too sure how to go about doing the symlink the e-smith way. Is it as easy as putting a symlink to /etc/rc.d/init/postgesql in the following directory /etc/e-smith/templates-custom/etc/rc.d/rc.7 ??
