Topic: Intel Pro/100 S network adapters

This new Intel adapter line (based on Intel 82550 controller) is not listed in the supported ethernet adapter list, nor is it listed in Redhat's hardware list. The Intel web site Tech Overview for this adapter family indicates driver support for Linux 2.2.5 or later. If I wanted to use this adapter in my current E-smith 4.1 server installation could I use the Linux drivers supplied by Intel?
I am specifically refering to the Intel Pro/100 S Server Adapter.

I am using the Intel Pro/100 M and it works great.  If I have time, I will drop an Intel Pro/100 S that I recieved today into it and let you know what happens.
