Topic: After reading the email still shows NEW

After opening the email in the INBOX dosent mark it as OLD. When there is
message in the body of the text this problem dosent seem to arise.
I am using 4.1.2 version e-smith.

Example: If  I receive an email with only "Subject" field filled out and the body
of the email dosent have any text. Webmail shows that email always NEW.
Anybody know how to to fix this issue????
