I just want to get a 'general' survey about  E-smith Scalability?

We are looking at doing a project that goes beyond the 'recommend' usage of E-smith.

Who is running the largest E-smith server with the highest user volume?
Who has installed a server that goes beyond the 500 user 'limit'?
What type of h/w specs are you using?
