Hello Charlie and other E-smith experts and users

Pls help me out in configuring webmail.

I had installed E-smith 4.1.1 and configured mail server. It was working fine and i had enabled the webmail and it was also working fine. Afeter some days i configured ,create starter website so that if i type my server name then i get my company name and etc inthe web page. After  this also my webmail was working fine.

2 days back i had upgraded 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 and the upgrade worked fine..all my mail boxes are in tact but i am unable to see my starter website and also unable to use webmail.

I think in the process of upgradation cgi-bin files might have been misplaced or correpted..how do i get back my webmail..pls help me in this ASAP. This is the only way my remote users can use effectively...

Thanks in advance

If you think there's a bug in e-smith, please report it to bugs@e-smith.com with *FULL* details.  You need to include specific technical details of what happens, not just "it doesn't work".  For more details on known bugs see http://www.e-smith.org/bugs.php3 (note that this webmail issue isn't a known bug.)

Don't forget that you now have to specifically enable cgi and php for any i-bays that require this through the e-smith manager (this changed from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2). Also read the following section it may be helpful.

Hi Randy and others

Good to know that you did not face any problem in accessing the webmail. But my question is did u enable webmail and work with it before upgrade i.e 4.1.1 and did u create home page (using create starter website in the miscellaneous section on e-smith manager) for your company using the tools given in e-smith manager. I did that and it was working fine but after the upgrade it does not work..that means it could be the problem of locating the directory.

I also installed 4.1.1 on other server and upgraded that to 4.1.2 but this time i have not created any home page and after the upgrade tooo i can able to use the webmail.

Can any one tell me where to locate the changed settings and configure them so that i can use my webamail again.

What do you mean, "get back my webmail"?  Is it turned on in the e-smith manager?  The main files are in /home/httpd/html/horde, but that won't do anything if it isn't turned on in the "other e-mail settings" panel.
