Topic: PPro+ Intel VS440FX: Install Freezes

I can't get this system to install e-smith (4.1.2). it freezes right after the OS load, when I get to choose the fdisk options for the install.

The sys is made from a Pentium Pro 200, an Intel VS440FX mobo, S3 Trios 64V+ PCI VGA, LG 40x CDROM IDE, 64MB EDO and a 4.3GB Seagate U8 IDE HDD. Normally it's pretty compatible. I have my doubts about the mobo but I couldn't find anything saying it wouldn't work.

Any idea?

I just tried 4.12 on a Pentium Pro as well and it crashes towards the end of the image copy phase.
