Topic: problem restoring from desktop (2.6GB file!)

I've done the backup to desktop which resulted in approx 2.6GB file. When I try to restore onto a freshly installed 4.1.2, the browser "times out" ie, for some reason after a couple of minutes of transferring the file, I get a "page cannot be displayed" error...

The desktop is W2k
eSmith is 4.1.2
Network is on a 100BaseTX hub
Browser: IE6

I had the same problem but the restore is in fact working.  If you look at the server you will notice the HD light is flashing about once a second and then once it gets the complete file from the computer it will start loading it in and then the hard drive will have a lot more activity.  The browser will report a problem but if you let the server go long enough untill you notice no activity on the drive you will have completed the restore and all your files should be there.
