Well, I had some of this errors before and mailed them to Michael Weinberger who developed it for e-smith and he said it could be something with simultanous processes....I mean that the awstats script is doing something exactly at the same time as an e-smith cronjob....and that is conflicting.

But, I suppose AWstats works fine furthermore, or not? It's nothing to be concerned about.
