Topic: talkd ytalk or some chat....

Can anyone help me setting up talk or a similar program on e-smith? All I want is for me to be able to talk with another partner on telnet session on the same server... I downloaded the redhat 7 rpms for talk and talk server and installed them but when I try: talk whomever, I guet the followin erron in the middle of the screen

[ Error on read from talk daemon: Connection refused ]

and then ofcourse it doesn't work...

I noticed e-smith has "write" but it overlaps the likes... Doesn it have something better already installed?

Can someone help me?

I also wanted ytalk on my computer. I know it is not in the 'design spec' but anyway.. there is a script at http://www.bahuma.net/sme/ytalk

Let me know if there are any issues. It does require the sme development tools installed before you can install ytalk
