Think i screwed up things a bit at my server,
Got E-Smith 4.1.2 running for serveral weeks now on a pentium 100 with a 4 Gb drive in it.
Although its running fine, i have added a second hard disk of 620 Mb.
The purpose was putting the /home directory on the seperate drive, safety...
Backed up the whole thing, mounted the drive, put everything back, checked the total sizes of the new and original directories, everything OK.
After i cleaned up (del backup...) , found out the command cp -Rp doesn't preserve the owner and permissions on the files. 8-((
Anyone an idea to get this in the old state ? Maybe anyone willing to mail his / her /home directory listing ?
Any help would be appreciated, although everything seems to work, after chown www on the html directory..
cheers
