POP and IMAP allow a user to access the mail server with a standard mail client, i.e., LookOut Express, Netscape, Eudora, etc.  Webmail allows a user to access the webmail.  The two options have nothing to do with each other.

Which option you should choose is up to you.

hi,
thanks for ur reply.

is it mean that if we want the use access our mail at home using outlook express, i have to enable this POP and IMAP

in outlook express
incoming mails setting : pop.xxxxx
outgoing mails:smtp.xxx

if we enable webmail means that they can access their email at internet Explorer and type https://xxxxxxxx/webmail, am i rite to said that ?

i have another question:

how can i keep the email in webmail ?

i found that after i read it, it is deleted automatically.

is there any way that i keep a copy of email in webmail ?

pls assist

You can use just the IP-Adress or if you want to use names

mail.xxxxxx  for pop AND smtp

Normally the mail is not deleted, it is just marked as read.
