Topic: Additional user data storage

I would like to develop an extra i/f for e-smith to enable an admin to create/edit/delete
CBQ rules for users. I am a little uncertain as to where I would store any extra per
user info that is required for this.

Is there a _right place_ to store extra user data?

I'd think the accounts database would be the place.  /sbin/e-smith/db accounts setprop [user] prop1 value1 etc...
