Ok,  I am currently using RaQ4's for my hosting.  There easy to setup,  they support asp, fronpage ext, php, ssl, pop, smtp etc, and runs on some weird ver of linux EVERYTHING!!!  Is the some software out there that is equivelent?  I would like to know.  E-Smith looks like the closest i have seen. and its free.  Anyone else have opionons about other types of servers like these?
Thanks.
Mike.

Far as I can tell, e-smith does all that Cobalt does except for Frontpage extensions and ASP, plus its a doddle to use and administer. To make it perfect, Front Page extensions and ASP support how-tos would be welcome....anyone ?

E-smith is excellent if your hosting does not require separate multiple domain support.  E-smith does offer limited e-mail alias support.  See my HowTo for details.

If you do require a collocated RaQ4 equivalent with direct support for multiple domains with multiple separate domain administrators, then WireX is a good choice.  Unfortunately not open source but reasonable at $300.00 USD.  I am also a reseller of WireX so if you have any further questions please e-mail sales@netsourced.com
