I am setting up an e-smith machine that will be using a proxy server from my isp.  How am I supposed to setup my clients.  My e-smith server is pointed at the proxy-myisp, how are the clients supposed to be configured.  should they be pointed at the proxy on my e-smith box proxy.e-smith.lenny.jcafamilly.net or should they use direct connection.  I just want to make sure that the end solution is that the clients will use my isps proxy.  And I would prefer that this is a setting that they can not change.

thanks..

If your clients are setup for proxy.isp.com this will bypass the e-smith proxy so your clients sould setup using proxy.e-smithbox.com (proxy.e-smith.lenny.jcafamilly) using port 3128 of all protocol's. (http, http, secure, ftp, etc)

With most internet application like yahoo, napster, irc, etc the e-smith box will be transparent to that application.
