Topic: login home directory (FTP)

How do you change the default login home directory for a user? In my case, I don't want them in their user folder, but rather, in an ibay. I thought I could change it in /etc/passwd, but it doesn't seem to work.

Can somebody point to me what e-smith uses for FTP?

instead of using the user's username, use the ibay name as the username (set a password if reqd in e-smith-manager)
and voilla
