Topic: deleting users

I am using E/S 4.0.1.  I deleted a user and tried to create the user again.  I now get the message 'Error: account "username" is an existing user-deleted account.'

How do I update E/S to get rid of the user deleted account so that I can use the username again?

This implies that a previous deletion did not complete. We have
only seen this with contributed modules which generate errors
on deleting users.

Well, it should not happen

Manually remove the offending line from /home/e-smith/accounts
