Hi there!
I have a domain that people visit (mj.stasis.org) which I get from my friend at stasis.org.
Since my ISP now changes their IPs on a regular basis, I also got an dyndns.org address.
So the mj.stasis.org points to mj.dyndns.org, and I added a virtual host so the e-smith web and mail servers wouldn't complain.
However, Proftp still isn't happy.
When ppl ftp to mj.stasis.org (which of course, goes through mj.dyndns.org) users are prompted with:
530 Please enter the USER name as user@host
This does Not happen when you ftp directly to the IP address, only when you're being re-routed through dyndns.
I'm not sure how to tell proftp that this is okay. I read the docs and no one seems to have run into this before.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!!!!!
Matt
p.s. I tried AllowForeignAddresses On, but that didn't do it. Also in the HOSTS section, e-smith defaults to AllowAll, so I'm not sure where the problem is.
