Hi,
Just a small sanity check to double check my thinking.
I've been using the autoupdate program (available from freshmeat.net and
http://www.mat.univie.ac.at/~gerald/ftp/autoupdate/index.html) to keep one of my RedHat boxes up to date for a while now and am interested in the possibility of using the same little beastie on my SME 5 box.
This package is smart enough to only go for rpms that are within the same distro (eg. RH 7.0) and are already installed.
Does anyone see any problems with this idea? I know bumping up to the next RedHat distro (7.1+) would be a bad idea due to possible changes in interface etc. but within the same one it should be okay... right?
Regards,
Luke
