e-mail Filtering

Hi,

Is there any way of stopping "spam" being sent to the users of e-smith 4.1.2 or SME5 server, either being denied by e-mail address or the domain it was sent from??

It would be nice as a manager addon,

Kind regards,

Rob.

Rob,

Take a look at the Contributed HOW TO's here:

http://www.e-smith.org/cgi-bin/contrib.cgi

and the two which will get you started are the following:

"How To add and use a procmail mail filtering module that provides a web interface for easy mail filter setup"  http://it.dungog.net/files/readme/readme-procmail.html

"How to implement a user manager panel for e-mail forwarding, procmail, password-changing"  http://www.myezserver.com/docs/mitel/user-manager-howto.html

Le us know if you more questions, and good luck.

Regards,
Patrick

is is possible to allow this to happen for users outside of my network,  Ie, I run email for most of my family, but only my wife and I log in behind the box and can thus add rules.  I have to add them for everyone else.
