Topic: Tomcat HowTo

Hello All,

I just thought I would let you know that I have taken a few minutes and written up a quick little how-to to get Tomcat installed.

It is just a VERY basic install.  It does not include any of the mod_jk stuff.  (Basically serving JSP from within Apache).  However, I am working on that.  Any help would be appreciated/welcomed.

Thanks and I am working on REALLY incorporating Tomcat into SME, but I thought it might be good to just get a basic install HowTo out there as well.

This is for Tomcat 3. Is 4 much different? Thanks.

Frankly, I don't know.  It is one of the things I keep meaning to do, but don't get to.

Hopefully in a few weeks I can come back to this.

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that you can look for an updated How-To on Tomcat 4.0.2 and Java 1.4 coming out hopefully very soon. (2 - 3 days)

Over the weekend, I got them working and I am just trying to go back and get the HowTo's updated.
