Hello,

  I have a question about dymanic Dns.
Can SMEv5 work with http://Hn.org Dns provider

Has anyone have any experiance working with this provider?

I am trying to setup my SMEv5 server to use an Dymanic Dns provider that will work well with it.

I have register domains that I would like to use.

I am setup with Dns2go right now but they have change over to a fee base.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Hello again,

  I had a responce from gonzalo on how to use http://hn.org for an dynamic dns provider.

I was wondering would his instruction work with SMEv5 ?

Here is his responce:
1- download ez-ipupdate.xxx.rpm (i use the rpm of mandrake)
2-rpm -ivh ez-ipupdate.xxx.rpm
3-now, in /usr/share/doc you have some templates of ez-ipupdate.conf
4-
service-type=hn
user=(user-hn : password)
interface=ppp0
host=(host.hn.org)

5-ez-ipupdate -c path/ez-ipupdate.conf
6-the end :)

PD: sorry, but my english is so bad, if you speak spanish, better:)
PD2: you can hosting a dot com or other international domain name :)
PD3:http://www.netvoluton.com.ar (hosting on E-smith V5 whit HN.ORG and
EZ-IPUPDATE.

Could some one tell me if this will work?
And if they got it to work give me step by step instruction.
I don't want to brake my SMEv5 server.

Thanks
