Hi,

Does anyone know how to disable Appletalk as my Environment does not have any Mac and AppleTalk service takes the longest time to start.

To speed up the boot up process i would like to disable it.

Regards,
BK

Disable the service so that it won't come up next reboot:

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop atalk status disabled

Then shut it down:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/atalk stop

Hope this helps,
