I have a newbie type question about the DNS and related services in SME 5. Does SME cache particular routes and / or DNS entries somewhere ? If so, is there a way to clear / reset the cache ?
The reason for this is because for the past few days, whenever my SME server polls my domain mail server for any mail, an error is created in the logs as follows :-
Dec 10 08:00:05 smeserver fetchmail[7677]: nameserver failure while looking for aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.com.au' during poll of mydomainhost.mailserver.com.
As far as I know, aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.com.au is a totally different company / entity to mydomain.mailserver.com. Mail still continues to come in but the errors are disconcerting. I end up with hundreds of these entries in the log file. I am guessing that maybe that was the original route to get to mydomainhost.mailserver.com and that route is no longer valid ??? I'm grasping at straws of course.
