Topic: port forwarding throwing my system into a loop

Hi, I am currently running e-smith 4.1.2, and I installed the ip port forwarding rpm about 3 months ago...and now when I enable the feature it throws my system into a loop that causes slow speeds, and severe packet loss..in other words it eats up my resources....Has anyone expierenced this, or now what may be going on?
