I am setting up 5 e-smith 5 servers and I need to know how to make the user acconts and passwords sync between servers. So when I makes user accounts they will be on all the servers.

I want to use e-smith instead of windows NT or 2000.

You really should be using nis for this. Im pretty sure gordonr had a contrib at some point back.

Assuming your servers are all living on the same subnet.

Tyrone,

Be a little careful with this one.  Since you'll be replacing Windows servers with Linux, Samba will be in the mix.  Samba currently doesn't "sync" with other samba machines, in the same manner that a Windows solution does.

You'll likely need to slave four of your samba machines to a master samba server.
