Problem with RAVscan...
« on: January 17, 2002, 11:30:30 AM »
I get the following message every day:

/etc/cron.daily/ravscan:

/usr/local/rav8/bin/ravscan.sh: line 41:  3713 Segmentation fault      /usr/local/rav8/bin/ravav --all --smart --clean --heuristics=on --archive --mail --report=$REPORT_FILE / >/dev/null 2>&1
Null message body; hope that's ok
qmail-inject: fatal: qq write error or disk full (#4.3.0)
/etc/cron.daily/ravupdate:

/usr/local/rav8/bin/ravupdate.sh: line 38:  3725 Quit                    $EXECUTABLE >>$LOG_FILE
qmail-inject: fatal: qq write error or disk full (#4.3.0)

Anybody any idea?

Whenever I run the command manualy, there is no problem.

Hi,

I had some problems too. Darrell pointed me this section in the How-To:

-----------
/usr/local/rav8/bin/ravscan.sh  = this is a hard drive scanner for the server.  It is executable from the command-line only and does not work in any cron event at this time (bug-fix coming).
-----------

and advised me to remove the ravscan.sh from the cron.daily.

Hope it helps,
