Boot your system from your RedHat CD and rescue your system. Once you have into your machine, run lilo.

My wife also had an experience like this recently. In her case she was running Win98 and Mandrake7.1 in a dual boot arrangement. One day while using Windows, she decided to scan her system for viruses. Norton had been loaded prior to loading Mandrake, so it popped up a message regarding the master boot record and would she like to correct it. Not knowing the implications she said yes. Voila! No more Mandrake boot. Luckily when we installed Mandrake, we created a boot disk. We booted off of that, ran lilo, and it corrected the problem. Needless to say, she is MUCH more careful as to what she says yes to while in Windows. ;)
