Did you have anything in your
etc/e-smith/templates-custom
that might interfere with the new version of SME?

Hmmmmmmmmm,

How strange... nobody can find the Bill WorkGroup pages ??

Like to know if anyone succeeds to get this working on SME... I have absolutely NO experience with Python and it seems to be mandatory.

Looks like SME did have a version of "Python" already, but the Billworkgroup also need :
- PostgreSQL version 7.1.3 or newer (versions before 7.1.3 have parser bugs)
- PostgreSQL source to build the PyGreSQL Python interface
- Python 1.5.2 (recent distributions include 2.0 or 2.1, but we use 1.5.2)
- omniORB the CORBA 2 ORB from AT&T Laboratories Cambridge
- omniORBpy omniORB for Python

As a M$ Exchange Clone that "includes support for Meeting Invitations and Free/Busy and the forwarding of all Outlook Objects in e-mail."  I think it worth a try for us to do some test here.

Then we can feel sure to tell others that THE SME server is a Real M$ server "Replacement" in all angel.......
