I have e-smith 5.0.3 installed fairly stock with a static IP on the external interface. The ISP went down this morning and now no-one can log on to the network?? I can pull up the e-smith manager etc. The version of samba installed is 2.0.10-2. I didn't upgrade samba cause most of the clients were win98. Could this be what it is? The error message reported (2nd hand) is something like no such user not "No domain controllers were found" I've added new users, reset the password for existing users. I'm just hoping that when the external interface comes up that everything starts working again. Any ideas?
