My local hostname is birdy.ka.
We are using the E-smith as an intranet server so our website (mydomain.com) is hosted somewhere else.
So, see what i've done:
- I've created a domain called 'mydomain.com' . This was just for mails xxxx@mydomain.com to work on our intranet.
- I had, then, to redirect www, ftp, mail hostnames for 'mydomain.com' to the real server where i retrive mails using multidrop.
Everything working great: i can sen dand receive mail on my intranet using 'mydomain.com' and visit my site web 'mydomain.com' which is hosted on a dedicated server outside the intranet.
What happens then is that i have created an email account (zzz@mydomain.com) on my hosting server (the user doens't work in the same office) and when we want to send mail to him throw the E-smith server I recieve a mail daemon notice saying this user doesn't exist...
How can i tell my e-smith server to go to my hosting server for unknow users ??
Hope everything's clear ....
PS: excuse my really poor english as i am french spoken.
