E-smith does not have any funcionality for aliases. Is there any reason why I can not enable q-mail aliases (throught fast forward in the ~aliases/.qmail-default file), or will that interfere with the way e-smith uses q-mail. I have tried it and it appears to work OK. I also notice that e-smith drops a .qmail-???? file in the aliases directory for each group.

I appreciate that it will not be backed up and restored as default, but I can live with that.

I know about pseudonyms but they don't work for me in this case. Can I use q-mail's aliases to complement pseudonyms. I realiase I have to set them up manually outside e-smith, but will they interfere with the operation of e-smith.
